Job Summary Duties includeSales Strategy & Performance
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Drive maximum first and second gross profits across new vehicle sales.
  • Monitor individual and team results, coaching staff to maintain consistent top performance.
  • Analyse sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and innovation areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and industry regulations
Team Leadership & Development
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard sales executives with strong brand alignment.
  • Conduct ongoing coaching, training, and performance reviews to enhance skills and professionalism.
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, accountability, and individual growth.
Premium Customer Experience
  • Guarantee a flawless, customer-centric sales process aligned with luxury brand standards.
  • Manage VIP clients and escalated concerns with discretion, professionalism, and care.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, promoting loyalty and repeat business.
  • Foster a culture where every client interaction exceeds expectations.
Brand & Product Expertise
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product range, features, technology, and innovations.
  • Ensure the team is fully versed in brand values, positioning, and luxury sales techniques.
  • Represent the dealership at events, launches, and client functions to strengthen brand presence.
Operational & Financial Oversight
  • Manage departmental budgets, stock levels, gross profit, and overall profitability.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant processing of all sales documentation and transactions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Service, and Marketing teams to create a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
  • Develop promotional campaigns and initiatives in partnership with marketing.
Showroom & Presentation Standards
  • Maintain a premium showroom environment that reflects the luxury brand image.
  • Ensure vehicles are displayed to the highest standards, creating a curated customer experience.
  • Promote and network to align retail activities with dealership sales focus.
Deal Management & Closure
  • Personally initiate and close key deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure all necessary sales documentation is accurately completed
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ Automotive Sales / Sales Management experience at a franchise dealership (Audi/BMW/Mercedes Benz/ LandRover - Premium / Luxury brand experience highly advantageous).
  • Proven sales track record – 3 months’ payslips/commission sheets required.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and dealer management systems (Evolve, Kerridge, Drive, Automate).
  • Passion for premium/luxury vehicles and customer service excellence.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to engage discerning clientele.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Professional, well-presented, and committed to delivering at the highest standard.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Automotive experience a requirement
