Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage and motivate the new and/or used vehicle sales team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; take corrective actions when required.
  • Oversee the vehicle stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent service delivery throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives, finance and insurance partners.
  • Coach and train the sales team to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to management.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales / Business / Marketing (advantageous).
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in the motor industry, with at least 23 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle financing and insurance processes.
  • Valid drivers licence and clear criminal record.
