Project Planning & Strategy
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for all national technical initiatives.
  • Align project objectives with organizational strategy and stakeholder requirements.
  • Identify project dependencies, risks, and mitigation measures.
Project Execution & Delivery
  • Oversee the technical execution of projects across all regions.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, IT, and operations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Technical Oversight
  • Provide technical guidance and decision-making support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews, quality checks, and audits.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all national-level technical project matters.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with national regulations, health and safety policies, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation for governance and audit purposes.
Budget & Resource Management
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures against forecasts.
  • Allocate resources effectively across regional teams.
  • Approve procurement and vendor contracts in line with project needs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • On-time project delivery percentage.
  • Budget adherence rate.
  • Technical quality and compliance score.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction rating.
  • Number of critical risks successfully mitigated.
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:  
  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Tertiary qualification preferable.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in relevant engineering/IT domains.
  • Advanced project management expertise (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Clear criminal record
