The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team full-time. This individual will be responsible for leading the execution and successful delivery of cutting-edge development and production projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of product development, technical projects, production runs, and support initiatives
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, cross-functional development teams, contractors, and manufacturing partners
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with strategic business goals
  • Drive comprehensive project planning, including work breakdown structures, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Oversee project costing and proactively manage risks with actionable mitigation plans
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and facilitate formal agreement on all project changes
  • Support the development of business plans and product strategies, including defining and tracking success metrics
  • Manage acceptance testing, transition projects into production, and ensure complete documentation and specification compliance
  • Provide regular reporting on project performance, including time, cost, scope, risks, and resource utilization
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BEng or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within a technical or engineering environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical projects
  • Experience in project scoping, contracting, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong proficiency in planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, and reporting on key project metrics
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Familiarity with electro-optical systems is a strong asset
