We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel engines and related components.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to ensure proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and provide solutions for repair.
  • Replace faulty components, such as fuel pumps, filters, and turbochargers.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
  • Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessary.
  • Work effectively with the team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining large commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime and be on standby as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related fields.
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Prior experience in a transport or logistics environment.
