- Develop and implement customs compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to customs regulations and requirements.
- Manage import and export documentation and processes.
- Facilitate customs clearance for imported and exported goods.
- Maintain strong relationships with customs officials and authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding customs matters.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and communicate relevant updates to the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs affairs or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and requirements.
- Experience in managing import and export processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in customs management software and tools.
- Certifications in customs or trade compliance are preferred.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
