This permanent role is ideal for a client services expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to advisers and clients.This role offers the chance to work closely with key stakeholders, build and strengthen adviser relationships, and become the primary point of contact for premier advisers in the region.Role SummaryThe Platform Specialist is responsible for supporting clients and advisers with expert-level guidance across platforms, ensuring a seamless service experience. You will play a key role in driving adviser retention, resolving complex queries, onboarding new users, and contributing to ongoing service innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Experience & SupportDeliver top-tier client service via email, phone, and in-person engagementsOnboard new advisers, assistants, and clients, ensuring a seamless and successful transitionGenerate and analyse reports to track service levels and implement corrective action where necessaryProvide expert support across investment platforms, products, and digital toolsMaintain accurate records of all interactions and feedback in the CRM systemMonitor and respond to product and system-related queries timeously and professionallyRelationship ManagementBuild and nurture long-term relationships with clients, advisers, and internal departmentsServe as the escalation point for complex or high-value client queries and complaintsEngage premier advisers and support regional adviser activities and eventsCoordinate with external platforms and adviser offices to address client needs efficientlyService Quality & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to internal service level agreements (SLAs)Uphold compliance with financial regulations and quality standardsUse client feedback to suggest and implement service improvementsStay informed of industry trends, competitor movements, and asset class behavioursCrisis ManagementDevelop and implement procedures to handle escalated issues or disruptionsTake ownership of client satisfaction during high-pressure or time-sensitive situationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business Management, Investment Management, or a related field6-8 years' experience in client services within the investment or LISP platform environmentStrong understanding of LISP products, transfer processes, and the client journeyProficient in investment admin systems, CRM tools, and digital platformsKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilitiesRelationship-first mindset with a high level of professionalismStrong organisational and project management skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a teamHighly proactive, confident, and client-centricLocation: Cape Town, South Africa
