Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to secure the best value.
Manage purchase orders from request through to delivery, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Work closely with operational teams to meet project and operational timelines.
Keep procurement records up to date and accessible.
Monitor industry trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental cost-saving targets.Minimum RequirementsDiploma or Degree (NQF6 minimum) in a relevant qualification: either Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
At least 5 years’ experience in procurement/buying, ideally in a technical or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and Google Suite applications.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a track record of supplier relationship management.
Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working at pace without sacrificing accuracy.
CIPS membership would be an advantage.
