This is an ideal opportunity, based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, if you are looking for a stable position, busy but not hectic and working from home on a Friday is a bonus. The company has a couple of different entities under the main company, and is looking to employ a strong financial candidate to assist with the financial side of the business (70%) and the rest will be administration.Requirements:
  • Matric with Accounting/Finance qualification
  • Relevant Accounting experience
  • ZERO software a bonus
Duties:
  • Recording financial transactions (debits and credits)
  • Maintaining accurate ledgers and bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Preparing and submitting payroll
  • Tracking expenses and generating reports
  • Invoicing / Reconciliations / Management Accounts
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements - income statements, balance sheets and more
  • Analyzing financial data and providing reports to management
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Preparing and submitting tax forms
  • A deep understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping are crucial
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and keep records organized
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to financial records and office operations
  • General office management duties
