Gauteng - South AfricaOur client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a skilled Brand Manager to drive the sustainable and profitable growth of their brand portfolio. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the full lifecycle of product development and launchesensuring innovative products move seamlessly from concept through to market entry. This role requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams to optimise launch processes, elevate brand equity, and deliver on strategic business objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand strategies and promotional campaigns to increase market share.
- Lead end-to-end project management for new product launches, from ideation to market release.
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to streamline execution.
- Conduct in-depth market and consumer insights analysis to shape brand strategies.
- Develop and standardise SOPs for new product launches to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all teams.
- Train and empower sales teams with product and portfolio knowledge to drive performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and ROI-driven promotional activities to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal policies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Commercial or related field.
- 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical and/or marketing industries.
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales/marketing with 23 years in brand or sales management.
- Commercial acumen with strong analytical, project management, and networking skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a continuous learning mindset.
