Babylonstoren is looking for a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Sales Manager to drive an exciting new market segment within our trading division, namely bulk sales to the retail and food industry. This role involves expanding existing products into a wholesale format, and focuses on establishing strong networks within restaurants, hotels, food suppliers and fresh produce retailers.Requirements:

A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12), although a relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
At least 3–5 years' experience in sales of bulk on-consumption products
Established contacts in the restaurant, hotel and food service industries
A professional, friendly, well-rounded and adaptable individual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in Afrikaans and English
Must be willing to travel nationally (based in the Cape or on the farm)
Must have own transport and a valid driver's licence

Suitably qualified applicants from designated groups will be given priority.Responsibilities:

A background in food processing, wholesale or production is highly recommended
Active sales of bulk products to the wholesale, restaurant and food industries
Building networks and customer relationships in the on-consumption products and food service market
Identify new opportunities and clients in national and regional markets
Plan and attend promotions, functions and trade shows
Report to the head of production
Follow up on administrative tasks, including route planning, inventory monitoring and reports
