The role is focused on ensuring maximum equipment availability, safety, and efficiency by delivering high-quality technical services and maintenance support. This position plays a key role in maintaining PLCs, robots, and other electrical systems to support production and operational excellence.Qualifications
- National Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Automotive/IT (NQF 6).
- Trade Tested Electrician.
- Up to 3 years in a manufacturing environment as an Electrical/Electronic Technician.
- Proven experience in PLC and robot maintenance.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MES systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs and robotics.
- Execute planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Maintain and program PLCs and robots.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Provide technical support across the factory as required.
- Control costs, manage resources effectively, and support budget adherence.
- Deliver customer-focused service by resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong working relationships.
