The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, with 80% of the focus on recruitment operations and 20% on client engagement and business development. Candidates must have direct experience in recruiting engineering and construction professionals for large industrial projects. This requirement is non-negotiable.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Recruit engineering and construction professionals for large-scale industrial projects (USD $10M – $1BN in scope), with a focus on disciplines such as Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Schedulers/Planners, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers.
  • Source candidates specifically for construction project developments (not operations/manufacturing).
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines and networks of candidates, ideally with eligibility to work in Europe.
  • Conduct high-quality candidate screening—not just high-volume CV submissions—ensuring candidates meet technical and project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand role requirements and design tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring recommendations to clients.
  • Support contract administration and fee negotiations, managing offers from enquiry through to closure.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to develop client relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Minimum Requirements:Language requirement: Excellent English Communication SkillsEducation: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)Experience: 3+ years of related experienceIndustry: Construction project development. UK Recruiting Experience (required)
  • 3–4 years of relevant recruitment experience.
  • Prior experience recruiting the professionals who build large-scale industrial/construction projects, ideally from well-recognised recruitment agencies, project controls, project services, or project management firms.
  • Strong background in recruiting core project disciplines (as listed above).
  • Experience using CRM or ATS systems, with a strong focus on capturing detailed notes and generating accurate reports.
  • Strong personality and character fit with the ability to build trust, maintain professionalism, and represent the company’s values.
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience working directly with end-clients and managing full offer-to-close cycles.
  • UK or European recruitment experience (required).
Preferred Skills:
  • Established network of contractors/candidates in Europe.
  • Experience supporting international clients.
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruitment software.
  • Strong market research and talent mapping skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new prospects and convert them into client engagements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and clients simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
  • German bilingual is a plus but not required
