Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on FMCG production machinery and equipment to ensure continuous, efficient operation.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation faults to minimize downtime.Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections according to maintenance plans.Install, align, calibrate, and commission new production machinery and auxiliary equipment.Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and quality standards.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine performance and optimize productivity.Provide input on equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.Respond to machinery breakdowns promptly and efficiently, even outside normal working hours if required.Assist in training operators or junior technicians on basic machine care and troubleshooting.Qualifications & Certification:Red Seal Millwright Trade Certificate (essential).Experience:Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Millwright in the FMCG sector.Demonstrated ability to work on high-speed packaging and production machinery.Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems.Technical Skills:Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in preventative maintenance techniques and practices.Ability to install, align, calibrate, and commission new machinery.Understanding of PLC-based systems (advantageous).Knowledge of FMCG production processes and safety standards.Soft Skills & Attributes:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and be on standby when required.
