RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a Fitter to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and preferably some electrical knowledge to support maintenance and repair tasks.Responsibilities:Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipmentConduct routine maintenance to ensure machinery is operating efficientlyDiagnose mechanical problems and carry out repairsRead technical diagrams and interpret specificationsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborate with other team members to improve machinery performanceMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repairsRequirements:Trade qualification as a FitterMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsElectrical experience is advantageousAbility to work independently and within a teamBenefits
