Job DescriptionEssence of the job:Experience in production, logistics, inventory management, cost accounting, and cost/data analysis is highly desirable. The accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial and accounting tasks for businesses.Qualification:B. Com Degree in Accounting/Finance or a relevant financial degree appropriate for cost accounting, plus articles.Further qualifications as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) OR Certified Cost Accountant (CCA) will be advantageous.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of relevant experience as a cost accountant/management accountant.Strong background and understanding in cost accounting and data analysis, with previous exposure to factory or plant operations essential.Ability to compile, analyses data, identify trends, and draw conclusions with practical and workable recommendations.Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to management at various levels within the business.Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and resource management.Attention to detail to ensure accurate data analysis and reporting.Advanced skills in Excel and other data analytics tools are a must.Knowledge of Sage accounting and Meat Matrix will be advantageous.
