Typical calls involve simple issues like a computer not turning on.About the position:Our client is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to play a critical role in maintaining IT infrastructure across 11 branches. The ideal candidate is reliable, knowledgeable, and willing to provide after-hours support when necessary.Requirements:Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in In-House IT Support.Experience with Python will be advantageous.High school diploma or equivalent.CompTIA A+ certification or a related degree/diploma in IT or Computer Science is advantageous.Key Responsibilities:Hardware and Software Management:Install and configure new computers, software, and equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues.Perform updates and upgrades to operating systems and equipment.Network Management:Set up LAN/WAN networks, modems, and firewalls, and maintain them.Ensure network security through antivirus programs and other measures.Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.User Support:Provide first-line technical support to users.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or network access issues.If you have a passion for IT systems and problem-solving, this is the opportunity for you!)(afr=Interne IT-ondersteuningMenlyn, Pretoria
