Based in Bronkhorstspruit. To oversee the production, maintenance, and quality assurance functions. This professional multitasker will coordinate the plant’s manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer expectations.Objectives of this role
  • Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labour utilization throughout the facility
  • Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment
  • Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements
  • Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business, engineering, or related field
  • Min 10 years manufacturing/production experience
  • Proven skills in leadership and supervision
  • Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Needs strong problem-solving skills
  • Results and performance driven a must with a fine eye for attention to detail
  • Blow moulding, Injection moulding experience/knowledge
  • Data analysis skills
  • Able to have tough conversations and address conflict
