A global leader in cross-border VAT and tax recovery serving over 8000 clients in 100 countries worldwide is looking for an onsite Data Engineer to join their most technologically advanced team They are seeking a passionate and hands-on Data Engineer to contribute to the development of our revolutionary Compliance-as-a-Service platform, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our cloud-based platform, automating IT auditing for SaaS globally.Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines
Present insights via dashboards and data visualizations
Conduct complex data analysis and reporting
Interpret data trends and patterns to support decision-making
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
Prepare datasets for prescriptive and predictive modeling
Ensure compliance with data governance standards, including documentation of data definitions and business glossaries
Deliver data components as part of client-facing financial projects

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Python
Strong proficiency in building data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with data warehouses
Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integration techniques
