A dynamic logistics organisation in the East of Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, and lead the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing business in the freight and logistics sector.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including month-end closure, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead the management of bank accounts, fixed assets, and income statements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
Provide strategic insights to support key business decisions and drive growth.
Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting best practices and operational efficiency.
Execute ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

7+ years of finance experience, preferably within logistics or freight.
Proficient in Excel and well-versed in VAT, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Completion of SAIPA and/or SAICA articles.
Minimum BCom Accounting Degree; Honours advantageous.
Deep understanding of accounting policies, procedures, and statutory obligations.
