Financial Controller

• Master Cost & Reporting: Develop robust cost accounting systems, analyse variances, and deliver insightful reports on overhead, labour, and inventory.
• Lead Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with project teams to build accurate budgets, forecast trends, and provide solutions to keep projects on track financially.
• Optimise Inventory: Manage inventory costing and valuation, ensuring precise reconciliations and strong internal controls.
• Drive Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, enhance financial controls, and introduce cost-saving initiatives.
• Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and management to allocate costs accurately and support strategic bids and decisions.

• A Relevant Degree in Accounting, Cost Management, or a related field (CIMA/ACCA/SAICA is a major plus).
• 3-5 Years of Experience in cost accounting, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or a similar project-based sector.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modern cloud accounting systems.
