SUMMARYOur client within the Retail sector as an opportunity for an experienced Data Manager to come on board to lead teams focussing on on-premises data solutions as well as AWS-based cloud data engineering. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team leveraging data to drive insights, innovation and efficiency, by ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.RESPONSIBILITIES:Technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, solution implementation, end to end documentation and user support.Utilising MS BI Stack products (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Microsoft SQL, MS Excel pivot tables and other tools.Carry out quality assessment of data, data reports whilst conducting analysis of findings and offering action-driven recommendations and insights to various stakeholders.Provide technical assistance to other BI Team members.Perform code review, analyse execution plans and re-factor inefficient code.Collaborate with IT Operations to perform root cause analysis.Work with multiple projects and assignments concurrentlyTrain end users and technical support staff as requiredMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

5 years' experience in Data Analysis
3+ years' experience in BI Report writing using SSRS or other BI Report and dashboard development tools
Advanced SQL Query writing skills
Experience in SSIS / BI ETL Tools and Power BI Solutions
2+ year's Data Warehousing design and developing MS SSAS Tabular models
Experience and understanding financial reporting
Grade 12 & Diploma / Higher qualification
MS BI Certification / Data Analytics Certification
