*THIS POSITION REQUIRES AUTO BODY (PANEL SHOP) EXPERIENCE*A busy, well-known autobody repair shop on the East Rand is looking for an experienced Panel Beater who knows their way around big commercial vehicles like heavy-duty trucks and yellow metal machines. In this role, you'll be part of a solid, hard-working team, assessing damage, estimating repair costs, and bringing vehicles back to life using the full range of tools and equipment-welders, spray booths, hydraulic lifts, and cutting gear. You'll need to be both technically sharp and physically up for the job. To apply, you will need at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a professional autobody repair shop, have proven experience working on big commercial and industrial vehicles, you should be confident with welding, spray painting, brazing, and metalwork, and know your way around mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools. Knowing and sticking to workshop safety rules is a must. You'll also need to be fit enough for the physical demands of the job, have a great eye for detail, and show up with a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude. If you're okay with putting in some overtime now and then, even better.
