Service Qualification System Training
- To achieve the Authorized Trainer status as per the timelines, policies and guidelines of the OEM
- To primarily drive the Training internally at the OEM and to the Dealer Network
- Continuously monitor the progress of all delegates (internal and external) that are assigned to the training with regards to the online training, written tests, practical training and the practical exams
- Ensure that the training database is kept up to date
- Provide weekly reports to the Head of Technical Support & Training / Aftersales Service Manager
- Take full responsibility of the training level stages / events from inception to completion
- On completion, ensure all official documentation is completed and submitted timeously to the Head of Technical Support & Training
- Prepare for and maintain the highest-level of technical proficiency and professionalism in all Skill Areas of the training
- Manage and maintain the operational integrity of training vehicles for all activities
- Manage and maintain the database and offer support internally / Dealer Network
- Offer support for the different training applications internally at OEM and to the Dealer Network
- Offer support for the Training platform internally at OEM and to the Dealer Network
- Support to the Dealer Network and manage the database
- Utilize all available resources to maintain the highest level of technical proficiency
- Assist with the organization and functionality of special tools, hand tools, classrooms for usage, course hardware and components, diagnosis equipment and software updates
- Ensure high level of housekeeping is always kept
- Other Secondary Functions if or when required
- Professionally present Technical (diagnostic, product and system related) training courses to technicians in the dealer network if/when scheduled
- Support Course Development if/when required
- Administer written and practical exams when necessary
- Develop self and maintain technical knowledge in relevant technical fields for all brands
- Manage training schedule if/when required
- Assist Aftersales Service and Technical Support when needed
- Assist Dealer Network if/when required
- Maintain effective relationships with all technical staff
- Always maintain the integrity of the brand name & OEM
- Qualified Technician – Petrol and Diesel
- 3 years post trade test experience in a dealership environment
- Training background advantageous but not essential
- Require a high level of both written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer use and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with a multi-racial workforce
- Self-motivated & able to work on their own without supervision
- Have excellent planning and coordinating skills
- Motor Industry Experience ESSENTIAL!!
- Valid South African driver’s license required
- Must be in possession of a valid South African Passport
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- May be requested to perform ad-hoc tasks or requirements from time to time
