We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will take full ownership of financial activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting, while providing leadership to a team of accountants.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee operational and financial reporting across subsidiaries.Review and/or prepare monthly management packs and annual financial statements.Manage VAT calculations, submissions, audits, and SARS-related queries.Prepare and/or review tax computations, provisional tax, and dividend payouts.Manage audit files and liaise with auditors to resolve queries.Provide guidance and leadership to a team of accountants.Prepare and present financial reports to shareholders.Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes for entities and design financial systems for new companies.Review and manage cash flow forecasts, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.Take full accountability for financial operations within the portfolio, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Minimum RequirementsBCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA designation (advantageous).Completed articles or experience in a small audit/accounting practice beneficial.Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving ability.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Team-oriented with proven experience managing a team.Strong work ethic and professional integrity.If you meet the above requirements and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
