- Preparing financial statements
- Examining and analyzing a company’s accounts
- Ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures
- Collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances
- Conducting financial audits and reconciling bank statements
- Managing financial records and ensuring accurate reports
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Assisting with tax reporting and filing, budgeting
- Work with the auditors to finalise the audited financials
- All statutory requirement for CIPC plus annual returns
- Work closely with the financial institutions regarding bank accounts, limits etc.
