- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the hydraulics sector.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical product information, consultations, and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Present and demonstrate hydraulic systems, components, and services to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability for the company.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Product Expertise and Consultation:
- Understand and convey the technical aspects of hydraulic products, systems, and solutions.
- Offer product recommendations based on customer requirements, budget, and application.
- Provide technical support during product selection, installation, and troubleshooting phases.
- Stay current with hydraulic industry trends, product advancements, and new technologies.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues regarding product performance and technical specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing all aspects of the sales lifecycle.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the hydraulics industry.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer input and industry trends.
- Training and Product Knowledge:
- Participate in product training and development sessions to stay updated on the latest hydraulic technologies.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on how to use and maintain hydraulic systems and products effectively.
- Relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience in hydraulics, industrial equipment, or a technical sales field.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and applications.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen to analyze customer needs and offer solutions.
- Negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
