As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for translating conceptual designs into high-quality technical documentation. Youll lead the technical execution of projects, coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout all phases of delivery. Your experience and leadership will ensure the delivery of compliant, constructible, and innovative architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret design intent and develop precise construction documentationProduce accurate, detailed architectural and technical drawings using RevitEnsure all documentation meets applicable codes, regulations, and internal standardsLiaise with consultants, contractors, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycleAssess materials and construction methods to optimise technical solutionsCoordinate multidisciplinary technical input to ensure cohesive deliverySupport planning, costing, and technical documentation deliveryAbout YouNational Diploma or BTech in Architectural TechnologyMinimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in architectural documentation and deliveryDemonstrated ability to lead the production and management of technical drawingsAdvanced proficiency in Revit (shortlisted candidates will complete an assessment)Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and local regulationsProven experience engaging with municipal authorities and regulatory bodiesSkilled in BIM workflows and digital collaboration toolsAdditional skills in façade detailing, sustainability certifications (e.g., Green Star), or 3D modelling are advantageousDetail-oriented with excellent coordination and time management abilitiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindsetLegally eligible to work in South AfricaWilling to travel if project requirements demandBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and expertiseExposure to diverse, high-impact projects across multiple sectorsOpportunities for career advancement in a progressive, supportive studioA culture that values design innovation, professional development, and continuous learningA vibrant team environment with regular social and knowledge-sharing events
