A well-established company in the telecommunications is looking for a Financial Accountant (Order to Cash) to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations.In this role, you will support financial decision-making by collecting, processing, analyzing, and reporting financial data. You will be responsible for accounting processes within the Order to Cash team, with a strong focus on commissions and revenue assurance. This is a hands-on position requiring technical expertise, analytical ability, and strong problem-solving skills.As an Accountant you will:
- Prepare journals, financial statements, and statutory reports.
- Process accounting corrections and transactions related to customer accounts and commission structures.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including dropsafe reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Analyse monthly bank charges and present insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in line with company policies.
- Support annual budget preparation and year-end audits, liaising with auditors where required.
- Ensure full compliance with internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.
BComm Accounting / BCompt degree (SAIPA registration advantageous).
Minimum 4 years in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role
Strong technical accounting skills with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team management.
