We are seeking a Cloud Specialist to lead the design, deployment, and management of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions. This role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure optimal performance, security, and integration of cloud-based services. You will be instrumental in cloud transformation projects, migration strategies, and managed service delivery across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and private cloud environments.
?Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure and networking architecture for client and internal environments.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives, including discovery, planning, and execution across hybrid and full-cloud deployments.
  • Configure and maintain IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms (primarily Azure and AWS).
  • Ensure cloud solutions are compliant with security best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning within the cloud landscape.
  • Work collaboratively with DevOps and security teams to implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide Level 3 support for escalated cloud incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and provide cloud training to internal IT teams and clients.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve scalability, availability, and manageability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a cloud engineering or systems administration role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Understanding of cloud security frameworks and identity management.
  • Strong experience with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and management tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and hybrid integration with Azure AD.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
  • VMware, Veeam, or Fortinet cloud certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in delivering cloud services within an MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment.
