Grow here.Job DescriptionThe Senior Quantity Surveyor acts as project leader, supervising and delivering all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion. Is intrinsically involved in projects and ensures effective delivery input of others. Guides Candidate Quantity Surveyors and independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete design works.Technical Excellence:Facilitates over and coordinate small - mid-size projects.Liaises with the project Executive and the client body to establish and implement a clear project brief.Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a projectBriefs the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understoodManages the resources on a project and within the established budgetMonitors and manages the performance of Project Surveyors and other direct reportsFunctions as a Deputy Project Manager on APIC on at least one active projectAssists with managing project services and projects using APIC and other systems as relevantEnsures all deliverables comply with the PDSComplies with all QA requirements and benchmarks project dataWorking in conjunction with Executives to assist with the managementClient Relationship Management:Begins to build and maintain client relationships.Attends client meetings as technical support to gather information and discuss project requirements, explain/ defend work, etc.Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposalsPresents solutions to clients in a professional and technically competent manner.QualificationsMinimum 8 years overall experience within the built environment with a focus on Mining and Civil InfrastructureMust be registered as PRQSBachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from an accredited, internationally recognized institution or University.Additional InformationAt AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunityAt AECOM, our Freedom to Grow philosophy supports flexibility and balance to help our people thrive.
