- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sales and marketing field.
- Experience in the construction sectors will be advantageous.
- Sales and Marketing qualification (NQF Level 5–6) is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
- Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Pastel Accounting software is beneficial.
- Technical sales experience.
- Technical ability to measure up at building sites.
- Drive new business development and promote the full Company product range across new and existing client bases.
- Implement and support regional sales strategies to grow market share in Southern Africa.
- Ensure 24-hour turnaround on new business quotes and timely follow-up.
- Prepare and submit tender quotes with required documentation within deadlines.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, including specifiers, contractors, and key customers.
- Identify opportunities for additional product sales and introduce new initiatives to enhance growth.
- Maintain accurate reporting on sales activity, forecasts, and client engagements.
- Manage all sales-related projects and activities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and support long-term retention.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations.
- Provide clients with up-to-date information, brochures, and relevant updates on the full product range.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and coworkers.
- General administrative duties, including filing, document management, and maintaining information security and accessibility.
- Ensure correct procedures are followed for receiving and placing orders.
- Clearly communicate payment terms and general terms and conditions of sale with every quotation.
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding delivery and installation timelines.
- Facilitate clear handover communication between customers and the Company operations team.
- Monitor and manage the CRM system, ensuring leads and potential customer data is regularly updated.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline updates, customer visit summaries, and activity tracking.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all negotiations and interactions with customers.
- Conduct short and medium-term reviews.
- Implement and maintain procedures aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency.
