
Account Manager (Software)

- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base, including software enhancements and additional service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including solution delivery and product management, to align customer requirements with organizational capabilities and ensure successful implementation of customized solutions.
- Manage the commercial relationship with customers, including drafting proposals, negotiating agreements, and overseeing invoicing processes.
- Drive growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by successfully managing existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals
- Monitor account performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to both clients and the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competing.
- Proven experience in account management related to information technology, preferably within software sales or a related field.
- Experience in solution selling or professional services delivery in B2B or B2G is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology marketing, or an industry related field, or equivalent.
- Exposure to land or mineral rights management, other geospatial-based systems or compliance solutions (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and software.
- Salary: Negotiable, dependant on skills and experience
- Hybrid work: 3 days per week in the Cape Town office / 2 days from home
- Travel: 10 - 15% Domestic and International
