To be a strategic partner in analysing, improving, and redesigning core business processes. You will lead the charge from current state assessment through to post-implementation support, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, standardization, and straight-through processing for their organisation.Key Focus Areas:
As a subject matter expert, your working experience will be crucial in:
- System Migrations: Leading data-centric aspects of complex system transitions.
- Data & Insights: Uncovering trends and opportunities through deep data analysis.
- Process Improvements: Re-engineering workflows for optimal performance.
- Gathering Requirements: Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to elicit and define detailed business requirements for major projects.
- Data Analysis: Writing complex queries, analysing large datasets, and using tools like SQL, PowerBI/QlikView, and Excel to inform solution design.
- Process Improvement: Mapping current and future states (using tools like Visio, Blueprint, or Bizagi), conducting root cause analysis, and implementing metrics to track success.
- Problem Solving: Identifying business challenges and designing effective, data-driven solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Driving Change: Assisting with change management, UAT support, and ensuring process adoption and compliance across the business.
- A relevant Degree in IT, Informatics, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in business analysis, with strong exposure to data modelling and data analysis.
- Proven experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Experience with AI and machine learning is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrable expertise in business process mapping tools and the Microsoft Suite.
- A proven track record of operating independently and effectively in a complex, high-volume environment.
- Data Affinity: A natural curiosity for data and the ability to work with big data to drive decisions.
- Meticulous & Organised: Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong planning skills and a proven ability to see tasks through to completion.
- An Influential Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate solutions, motivate teams, and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- A Proactive Problem-Solver: Possesses investigative skills and a knack for identifying the root cause of issues.
