- Assist the GFSM in Maintaining Compliance with all Required Audits
- Adhere to all the policies and procedures
- Maintain all Food Safety Records
- Define Team Outputs
- Responsible for the Review and Update of the Food Safety Manual
- Internal: All departments in the Group
- External: Suppliers, customers, consumers, auditors, regularity personnel, service provider (waste disposal, pest control, etc.)
- Minimum: National Diploma in food technology or biotechnology
- Preferred: Bachelor's in food technology or biotechnology or quality management
- Experience: Minimum: 2 Years' experience
- Full understanding of South African legislation and regulations of food manufacturing, and import & export legislations
- Understanding of the various food safety standards
- Strong understanding of audit requirements
- New and current product development
- Knowledge of meat and poultry production
- Experience in participating in food safety audits
- Ability to delegate and instruct a team
- Strong communication skills
- Strong team player
- Computer literate and strong administration ability
- Problem solving and trouble shooting
- Valid Code Be driver's license
- Passed credit and criminal checks
- Passed medical exams
- Own transport
