
Sales Specialist: Africa

- BSc (Chemical) / BCom / IMM or equivalent
- 5+years’ experience in same/similar role
- Previous experience in African markets
- Previous travel experience to African countries
- Additional language - Portuguese or French advantageous
- Maintain & strengthen existing customer relationships
- Develop and research market opportunities (new business /existing business or increase)
- Identify new market opportunities (for growth and increase in sales and market share)
- Compiling, maintaining and updating sales forecasts
- Monitor and report on industry/ market trends
- Competitor analysis and reporting
- Maintain/ increase profitability
- Track sales activities (customer/ market specific)
- Support the Sales & Marketing team/ department
- Handle and resolve complaints
- Drive sales and enhance customer experience
- Maintain up to date customer records and prospect pipeline
- Work cross functionally across all internal departments
- Be first point of contact for employer engagement
- Promote the company in line with corporate image
- Self-starter and ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Presentation skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to converse at different levels
- Computer literate / proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
