A leading investment platform is looking for a Platform Transfer Specialist III to join its Bryanston-based operations team on a permanent basis.This senior-level role is ideal for someone who is well-versed in Section 14, Section 50, and discretionary transfers, enjoys process ownership, and thrives in a detail-driven, client-focused operations environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecution of Transfer ActivitiesFacilitate inward and outward transfers across Life and LISP platformsHandle Section 14, Section 50, and discretionary transfer processes in line with FAIS, FICA, and internal compliance standardsInvestigate discrepancies, resolve unmatched transactions, and perform reconciliationsManage documentation including mandates, transfer forms, confirmations, and supporting docsUse internal systems such as Wealth Connect CRM, Finswitch, and TAU to track transfer workflow and ensure timely processingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce riskClient & Adviser SupportServe as the primary escalation point for complex transfer queriesProvide clear, accurate guidance to clients, advisers, and third-party providersDeliver professional responses across email, calls, and meetingsEnsure compliance through coaching and support throughout the transfer lifecycleSystem & Data ManagementMaintain detailed records of transfer activitiesGenerate operational reports to monitor SLAs, resolve bottlenecks, and enhance performanceAssist in testing and improving transfer system features and workflowsStakeholder EngagementWork closely with internal teams including Client Services, Compliance, Legal, and adviser support teamsBuild relationships with external platforms, asset managers, and insurersSupport knowledge sharing and training sessions related to transfer operations and product updatesService Delivery & Risk ControlTrack performance against SLAs and escalate risks proactivelyHelp resolve crises involving processing delays or reputational risksContinuously improve transfer processes based on feedback and audit outcomesRequirements & QualificationsBachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in Finance, Investment Management, or Business Administration6-8 years' experience in the LISP or investment platform environmentMinimum 4 years' hands-on experience in transfer processing, ideally across both Life and LISP productsDeep understanding of Sectional Transfers, transfer documentation, and regulatory complianceProficiency with Finswitch, CRM tools, and investment admin systemsKey CompetenciesExcellent problem-solving and process ownership abilitiesStrong project management and organisational skillsExceptional communication and client relationship skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced operations teamLocation: Bryanston, Johannesburg
