- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or Extractive Metallurgy
- Any form of relevant sales qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Sales in the mining industry.
- Proven sales experience of large mineral processing equipment.
- Grinding mill knowledge and experience is essential.
- Familiar with the key attributes of commercial terms and conditions for the industry. Exposure to and experience with FIDIC, NEC etc. would be advantageous.
- Prepared to travel within the borders of South Africa and into neighbouring countries.
- Technical sales of grinding mills, mill spares and site services related to grinding mills.
- Engaging with clients to understand their challenges and propose solutions to solve these challenges.
- Package and present the proposal and close the deal.
- Stay engaged during project execution and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that you maintain an understanding and status of the project.
- Provide after sales support and backup.
