- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Handyman-related fields (advantageous)
- 2–3 years of technical experience in roles such as mechanic, plumber, or general handyman
- Valid driver's license (advantageous)
- Forklift license (advantageous) or willingness to obtain through the company
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- This vacancy is open to four candidates
- Prepare cabinets and assemble units
- Install sidewalls and lighting components
- Perform basic installation of electrical components related to refrigeration (e.g., power drives)
- Operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards
- Assist with general maintenance and repairs
- Support installation teams on-site and in workshop environments as required
- Conduct quality checks on assembled units
- Manage tools and equipment responsibly
- Assist with stock handling and movement of materials
- Read and interpret basic technical manuals and instructions
- Report faults and suggest improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
