This role combines technical and design expertise to ensure labels meet client-specific and industry-standard requirements. The Junior Graphics Designer works closely with internal teams, external clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure labels are accurate, compliant, and seamlessly integrated into packing and logistics workflows.Entry-level candidates with a completed Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, IT, or a similar discipline are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Design and update label templates using Report Designer.Ensure label compliance with international export regulations and client specifications.Collaborate with IT and Operations Teams.Maintain consistency and accuracy across various printer types and technologies.Troubleshoot label-related issues and provide timely solutions.Liaise with clients and industry authorities to stay updated on labelling standards.Support multi-language label design and localization efforts.Document label specifications and maintain version control.Minimum RequirementsEducation & Certifications:Recent graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field.Certifications in label design software or printing technologies are advantageous.Technical Skills:Proficiency in label design software.Understanding of printer technologies (thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser).Familiarity with barcode standards (GS1, QR codes, Data Matrix).Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. VBScript, JavaScript) for dynamic label generation.Design Expertise:Strong grasp of design, layout, and visual hierarchy.Ability to create clear, readable, and compliant label designs.Industry Knowledge:Understanding of agricultural export regulations and packhouse operations.Awareness of international labelling compliance standards (e.g. EU, USDA).
