Job Description:The Collections Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all collections operations within the BPO department. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage a team to ensure the efficient and successful recovery of outstanding debts. The Collections Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing strategies to optimize collections performance, while maintaining a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing collection strategies and processes to achieve collection targets and minimize bad debts
Monitoring collection activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Managing and motivating a team of collections agents, providing guidance and support for their professional development
Analyzing and evaluating collections performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes
Collaborating with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to resolve complex collection issues
Preparing reports and presenting collection performance data to management

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, or related field)
Prior experience in collections operations or a related field
Strong knowledge of collections laws, regulations, and best practices
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in collections operations or a similar role
Experience working in a BPO or contact center environment with debt collections campaigns
