Financial Manager / Financial Controller – CA(SA)Location: Kempton ParkReporting to: Managing Director / CEOSalary: R1, 2 millionKey Requirements:
  • CA(SA) qualification essential
  • 2 - 6 years post-articles experience
  • Strong financial aptitude with a proven ability to manage all financial aspects of a business
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Key Responsibilities: * Financial Control & Reporting:
  • Full responsibility for the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Oversee all financial transactions and accounting practices
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and liaison with external auditors.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure alignment between operational plans and financial goals.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow management and forecasting.
  • Optimise working capital and manage banking relationships.
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
  • Support senior management with financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and prior periods.
  • Controls & Compliance:
  • Strengthen internal controls and processes to mitigate financial risks.
  • Implement policies and procedures ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Ensure the team is appropriately skilled and resourced.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, banks, SARS, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Regular interaction with executive management, providing financial guidance and support.
