Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate day-to-day security operations on assigned sites.Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant security regulations.Monitor guard deployment, shift scheduling, and attendance to maintain effective coverage.Monitor time and attendance to ensure accurate workforce management.Conduct site inspections and spot checks to ensure operational readiness and discipline.Report and respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches timeously.Maintain accurate records of incidents, occurrences, and daily activity reports.Ensure access control, patrols, and surveillance are carried out according to procedure.Ensure that access control personnel are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.Provide guidance, coaching, and support to security officers under supervision.Conduct on-the-job training when required to upskill and develop team members.Liaise with clients and management on security-related issues and provide professional feedback.Assist in investigations of incidents, accidents, or breaches of protocol.Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site.Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

QualificationsGrade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).Valid PSIRA registration (minimum Grade A preferred; Grade B will be considered)Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.Proven experience managing teams in a high-pressure environment.Knowledge of time and attendance systems and workforce rostering.Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (essential).Computer literacy (MS Office, emails, incident reporting systems).Strong knowledge of security protocols, access control, and incident management.Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
