
Area Sales Manager - Northern Cape

- Promote and sell Epiroc Underground Capital Equipment (including AARD) to underground mining customers across the Northern Cape.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the growth strategy of the URE division.
- Identify and unlock new business opportunities to expand market presence in the region.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts through consistent service and support.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively.
- Organise customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase value.
- Drive awareness of Epiroc's full product portfolio (legacy and new) in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Partner with Product Managers, Service Teams, and Technical Experts to deliver integrated solutions.
- Coordinate with the Service department to ensure reliable aftersales support and sustainable equipment performance.
- Champion Epiroc's sustainable technologies and solutions, aligning with both customer needs and environmental goals.
- Matric certificate with a technical qualification, or equivalent experience in underground mining or capital equipment sales.
- At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining or heavy equipment sector, preferably with underground mining operations.
- Knowledge of Epiroc and/or AARD product lines is a strong advantage.
- A solid understanding of mining operations, customer needs, and equipment applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Cape.
