- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the shipping and logistics sector. With an emphasis for contract logistics / warehousing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Experience with pricing for warehousing and/or freight forwarding.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients to showcase our services, being contract logistics, freight forwarding and road including final mile solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and report on outcomes to senior management, including pipeline management reporting.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote company services.
- Negotiate contracts with clients while ensuring profitability for the company.
