The Financial Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day financial administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role supports the finance team with reconciliations, reporting, accounts processing, and maintaining accurate financial records to contribute to the efficient operation of the finance department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, credit notes, and payments in line with company procedures.
  • Perform debtors and creditors reconciliations and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, filing, and documentation.
  • Assist with cashbook processing, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns as required.
  • Support payroll administration and ensure employee records are up to date.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures, highlighting variances to management.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to resolve financial queries.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting (essential).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (NQF Level 5–6).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems and MS Office (Excel essential)
