Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor Strata Control to join their mining team. As a Supervisor Strata Control, you will play a key role in overseeing the implementation and management of strata control systems to ensure the safety and stability of underground mining operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company in the mining industry and make a significant impact on the success of their operations.Responsibilities:

Supervise the implementation of strata control systems, including monitoring and analyzing ground conditions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with geotechnical engineers to develop and implement strata control plans.
Train and mentor strata control technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the effectiveness of strata control measures.
Provide technical support and guidance to mining and engineering teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to strata control activities.

Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Chamber of Mines Strata Control Certificate with Competent A and B certification
4 years underground mining experience
Valid driver’s license (EB)
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment
