Job Summary Hire Resolve's client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Reliability Technician in Gauteng.Responsibilities

Ensure the health and Safety of South and team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of maintenance activities
Perform inspections in accordance with the MHSA regulations and company standards
Contribute to the culture of Zero Harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation health safety environmental security policies and procedures and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion
Daily verification and validation, that the operation and maintenance for reliability training outcomes are being applied effectively by the Operators, Artisans, and Supervisors in the working areas underground, intervene when required, and reinforce expectations
Interact and discuss with Artisans during on-the-job observations to identify any improvement opportunities to preserve asset health
Formulation of lessons learned and translation thereof into training material for Production Operators, Production Foreman, and Artisans
Facilitate when required Operate and Maintain for Reliability learning modules in the Training Centre
Completion of daily observations/insights/inspections and MCAs/intervention log discussion with Supervisor on shift and return to Reliability Engineer
Perform periodic machine condition assessments (MCAs)
Planned Maintenance services and corrective maintenance are being undertaken by Artisans to the site and OEM standards
Defects are identified, and accurately recorded and work orders raised
Participate in RCA investigations and lead the implementation of any RCA findings using the work management processes and ensuring compliance within the Engineering and Production teams
Identification and implementation of improvement initiatives, to enhance asset reliability and/or labour efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

Grade 12
N3 or equivalent
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Test Certificate
Minimum 5 years of experience as a trackless mobile machinery Artisan/Foreman

Benefits

Salary: R500K/yr - R950K/yr, negotiable
