
Out-of-hours Consultant (Night Shift)

- Focusing on delivering a client-orientated service by building strong relationships with nurses and clients
- Attending to requests received via email / phone calls / WhatsApp
- Making service calls after 19h00 to each facility to ensure attendance and enquire about staffing requests
- Contacting client facilities for updated needs and attendances, including appropriate progress updates / follow-ups as needed
- Handling cancellations from clients and candidates via established processes
- Ensuring availability as first point of contact during out-of-hours shifts
- Ensuring unbroken service through proper handover from out-of-hours shift
- Addressing pay queries from placed staff
- Showing efficient telephone manner to record accurate information and capture relevant updates on the system
- Using the CRM as a primary source of information for candidate interaction and placement
- Capturing relevant interactions on the CRM
- Flagging and reporting errors or issues in information contained on the CRM
- Attending to handover emails from the Medical team and/or HODs
- Establishing a pool of staff for potential assignments
- Providing availability updates per shift
- Making outbound calls (client relations, staff availability, database updates, etc.)
- Monitoring incoming emails frequently with minimal turnaround time
- Compiling a handover report for the day shift
- Promoting the Company to attract candidates and maintain clients
- Consulting with relevant internal departments that impact the department when required (e.g. Payroll, Sales, Compliance, etc.)
- Attending meetings as required (scheduled, regular and ad hoc)
- Maintaining a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanour when interacting with clients and candidates
- Managing all resources to ensure optimal operating efficiency
- Ensuring availability for rostered shifts and reasonable ad hoc requirements as arranged
- Ad hoc additional or alternative functions as needed
- 2 year's experience in Sales / Customer Service / support function
- Willing and flexible to work shifts 5 days a week including weekends (two days off in the week)
- Must have a valid Driver's License and own reliable car (site visits)

- Out-of-hours medical recruitment experience (advantageous)
