- The design was done by others, engineering will involve the construction and commissioning as per design and addressing of shortfall and outstanding issues.
- Ensure that the discipline designs are carried out in accordance with client standards and specifications, industry standards and the relevant legislation (quality of design).
- Provide design interface between disciplines.
- Provide engineering support to the site team.
- Perform commissioning of the complete power plant.
- Manage the mark-up and back draughting of redline drawings
- Ensure that relevant project procedures are complied with.
- Ensure that reports are structured, accurate, complete, and well presented.
- Display proactive communication with project team with respect to discipline interface and problem solving.
- Display effective management of time.
- Ensure proper change management procedure is adhered to.
- Ensures that all interactions with Clients are conducted in professional and respectful manner.
- Ensures that Clients are kept informed and up to date on status of project technical aspects.
- Liaises and co-ordinates with the client’s discipline engineers to ensure adherence to project and client requirements and specifications.
